Chapter 55: Arrival from Space: The Transcendent Angel Descends
Page 1/3
The relentless river of time surges forward, eroding the bedrock of civilization. Since the tumultuous Battle of the Furious Seas subsided, three thousand five hundred years have quietly slipped away. The Angelic Civilization, a grand edifice forged through countless sacrifices and unwavering resolve, after enduring the agonies of the “Great Judgment of Justice,” the looming threat of population decline, and the delicate balance of triarchic rule, finally welcomed a breeze of renewal from the distant starry seas.
A full century has passed since King He Xi of the Celestial Foundation poured his heart and soul, expending vast resources, to ignite the epoch-making “Celestial Computing Cluster.” These hundred years have been a golden era of unprecedented scientific expansion for the Angelic Civilization.
Though the “Celestial Computing Cluster” was merely an entry-level astral computer, its boundless computing power was like wings of light-speed thrust for the entire civilization. Breakthroughs flourished across all fields—materials science, energy applications, genetic engineering, spatial theory, physiology development. The engines of angelic warships roared deeper and mightier, shields glowed with denser brilliance, and the fiery swords’ edges became more restrained yet lethally sharp.
The radiance of the Angelic Civilization had become synonymous with the cutting edge of known universal technology.
Yet beneath this dazzling light lurked a profound shadow—population. The century-long “Great Judgment of Justice,” followed by nearly four millennia of systemic exclusion and invisible oppression, had thoroughly severed the roots of pure-blood angelic reproduction. Male angels, once constituting half the civilization’s strength, had utterly vanished within the Angelic realm.
There were now no male angels left.
They had either long ago been exiled to the wild fringes of the cosmos, left to perish in despair; or they had concealed themselves, scattered like ghosts throughout the vast universe; or, having crossed the insurmountable boundary sea, they had merged into the mysterious and formidable “Tianyi Civilization” founded by King He Feng of Tianyi in the unknown cosmos.
The population of the Angelic Civilization was like a slowly but irreversibly draining hourglass, quietly diminishing year by year. New angels were born almost entirely through mortal gene transformation and intermarriage between female angels and alien males, irreversibly diluting the purity of angelic bloodlines.
Within, despite the steadfast supervision lasting over a millennium by Senior Guardian Angel Ruo Ning, bearing commands from two angelic queens, King Liang Bing of the Apocalypse seemed at last to have been bridled in his once wild conquest stride. Expansion slowed dramatically, tending toward “order.” Queen Kaisa implemented more conciliatory policies in newly conquered territories, seeking to win over other civilizations through “love and justice” rather than sheer force, mending the scars of past conquests.
Those civilizations once trampled by the Apocalypse legions, under the Angelic Civilization’s millennia-long “protection” and “aid,” though their resentment had not vanished entirely, hostility was slowly abating. The reputation of the Angelic Civilization, though bought with blood, was painstakingly being rebuilt.
Yet the angelic patrol squad personally ordered by Kaisa, which had searched tirelessly for three thousand five hundred years, still had found no trace of He Feng nor his “Spark.”
The thirty thousand survivors who had broken through the Furious Sea, along with the massive plundered resources and population from the Celestial City, seemed to have entirely evaporated at the edge of the universe, leaving behind only a strange legend.
He Feng, once the Angelic War God, now the “Ancient Demon God,” appeared to have vanished.
At the frontier of the Angelic domain, the wormhole stabilization anchor point designated EpSilOn-7 stood silent. Against the cold cosmic backdrop, the massive anchor structure resembled a sleeping giant, emanating a faint blue force field that maintained the stability of the passage connecting distant star regions.
Suddenly, ripples stirred across the anchor’s central force field, like stones cast into a lake. Space itself silently tore open.
A starship of peculiar design, strikingly different from angelic or known mainstream spacefaring civilizations’ styles, slipped forth from the wormhole like a ghost, silently and smoothly.
Its body was a matte black so profound it seemed to absorb all light. Its lines were sleek and minimalist, devoid of turrets or external devices. The surface was mirror-smooth, save for a complex emblem embedded midship—an intricate pattern of countless geometric lines.
That was the long-lost insignia of the Divine River Civilization, buried in the dust of history.
The starship did not ignite any thrusters, seemingly propelled by an invisible force through the void, precisely docking at the coordinates designated by the anchor point. It was silent and still, as if part of the cosmic deep freeze itself.
The angelic border patrol swiftly approached, wings unfurled. The warriors tensed, their fiery swords unactivated but energy cores ready to ignite.
The starship’s mysterious arrival and archaic style unsettled them deeply.
After a moment, a smooth section on the ship’s side flowed and morphed like liquid, forming a standard docking hatch. Two figures drifted out.
The leader wore a vast cloak seemingly cut from the deepest night itself. With the hood pulled low, his face was utterly obscured. Yet beneath the hood was not darkness, but a pure, unsettling void.
Gazing into it felt like being swallowed whole, where even light could not escape.
An indescribable, existential pressure radiated silently with his presence. He was Space, once a scientist of the Divine River Civilization, now the founder of the Deno Civilization—Space Kiran.
Following him was another, also cloaked, but in a strange blue-black mantle shimmering faintly like a deep nebula. At the hood’s edge appeared an exceptionally youthful male face, pale almost translucent, delicate features that could be called “a little lad.”
Most striking were his eyes, like newborn stars—clear, bright, filled with curiosity and a subtle, barely perceptible tension.
He was Karl, the sole student and assistant of Space.
The patrol captain’s communication channel opened with a calm yet highly alert inquiry: “Unknown starship, state your identity and purpose! This is the Angelic Civilization’s territory!”
Space cloaked in “void” remained silent, motionless.
Karl stepped forward, his young voice transmitted clearly through an invisible force field to all the angelic warriors’ communicators, carrying a peculiar soothing cadence:
“Respected angelic warriors, we come from the Deno star system. I am Karl, and this is my mentor, the principal of the Super-God Academy—Space.”
“We mean no offense. This journey is a special visit to the three angelic queens to discuss important cooperation concerning the future welfare of the known universe. Please convey this message.”
“Deno star system? Space?” The patrol commander’s voice held obvious astonishment. These names were no secret among the angelic elite.
The Divine River Civilization had fallen eleven thousand years ago in an unknown disaster called the “Ultimate Terror.” Space, the last remnant of Divine River, had wandered the cosmos for thousands of years with his student Karl, settling in the Deno star system about six thousand years ago.
With unparalleled wisdom, he had guided two primitive worlds—Deven and Promise—to rapid ascent and eventual fusion into the formidable Deno Godmaking Civilization.
After the Angelic Civilization’s civil war ended and order stabilized, it had attempted contact with this legendary sage, but the Deno system’s remote and concealed location thwarted all attempts—until now, when they came of their own accord.

“Please wait, gentlemen.” The patrol captain promptly relayed the data and images of the starship and its visitors to the highest command of the Melo Celestial Court.
The news struck like a stone cast into a still lake, sending ripples throughout the angelic high command.

Angelic City, Melo Celestial Court.
Upon receiving the border emergency report, Kaisa, He Xi, and Liang Bing swiftly convened in the central council chamber.
A vast star map hovered, highlighting the Deno starship and the two visitors.
“Space… he has come in person?” He Xi’s silver eyes shimmered with intense curiosity and caution.
As the chief scientist of the Angelic Civilization, she harbored great academic interest in this legendary Divine River remnant, yet the profound “void” around him instinctively signaled an inscrutable danger.
“Deno Civilization… hmm, silent all these millennia, now suddenly appearing? What are they plotting?” Liang Bing crossed her arms, her gaze sharp with scrutiny and a hint of excitement. She had heard of Divine River’s technological prowess.
Kaisa sat upright in the main seat, her golden hair flowing regally in the soft light. Her gaze was deep, lingering on Space’s void-shrouded hood and Karl’s youthful face.
“Though the Divine River Civilization has fallen, Space’s wisdom and knowledge remain priceless treasures of the known universe.”
“His voluntary visit surely carries great intent. Regardless of purpose, it is our duty to respond with courtesy and ascertain the truth.”
She made the decision: “Receive them at Angelic Plaza with the highest diplomatic honors.”
Orders were swiftly issued. The solemn and grand Angelic City stirred quietly to welcome this visitor from the ancient star river.
———————————————
Angelic Plaza.
The grandest open square of the Melo Celestial Court, paved with flawless star-core stone and surrounded by towering pillars reaching the clouds.
At the center stood a colossal sculpture of angelic wings, gleaming under stellar light, symbolizing guardianship and justice.
Now the plaza was solemn and dignified. Two ranks of high-ranking guardian angels clad in pristine ceremonial armor, each holding a fiery sword, lined the sides of a red carpet.
Kaisa stood at the center, her posture tall, golden royal armor fluttering gently in the breeze, her expression calm and majestic.
To her left, He Xi wore queen-class silver armor with a deep blue and gold-trimmed cloak, her aura cool and wise.
To her right, Liang Bing donned queen-class armor with a black and gold-patterned cloak, a faint, elusive smile on her lips, her eyes sharp as an eagle’s.
Behind them stood Senior Guardian Angel Ruo Ning, Senior Guardian Elan, Senior Guardian Yu Tong, and other Melo Celestial Court dignitaries.
Ripples formed in the air.
About ten meters from the three rulers, two figures slowly emerged.
It was Space in his black cloak and Karl in his blue-black cloak.
“Welcome to Angelic City, Excellency Space, Mr. Karl.”
Kaisa spoke first, her voice peaceful yet powerful, breaking the momentary silence.
“The light of Divine River’s wisdom, though weathered by countless years, still guides explorers’ paths. The Angelic Civilization is deeply honored by your visit.”
The void beneath Space’s hood seemed to “look” at Kaisa. No words came, but a grand, vast thought, as if containing countless stars’ births and deaths, resonated clearly in the minds of all the angelic leaders:
“Queen Kaisa, King He Xi, King Liang Bing.
Divine River is history; Deno inherits its legacy. This journey is for the future.”
This direct spiritual communication demonstrated their unfathomable mental power. He Xi’s eyes glowed with greater scholarly fascination.
Kaisa’s expression remained unchanged as she nodded slightly: “Excellency Space, what ‘future’ do you refer to?”
Space’s thought arose again, steady and unhurried like an ancient flowing star river:
“In the known universe, civilizations are like stardust—brilliant yet fragile.
The shadow of Ultimate Terror has not receded; whispers of the void still echo in the abyss.
The barriers Divine River failed to transcend require new forces to overcome.
Deno holds the crystallized wisdom of Divine River—‘The Great Clock.’ Angelic Civilization possesses vibrant vitality, formidable execution, and King He Xi’s newly completed ‘Celestial Computing Cluster’ capable of bearing the future.
Scattered sparks will fade; only united light can pierce eternal night.
The universe is vast, yet Godmaking civilizations are rare. For the universe, for life’s evolution, for technological progress,
Divine River’s legacy must unite with the Angelic wisdom.”
He gestured toward Karl:
“My assistant Karl will present our cooperative vision.”
All eyes turned to Karl.
The young scholar seemed a little nervous, his pale face faintly flushed, but he drew a deep breath, his clear eyes shining with intelligence and enthusiasm.
He stepped forward, voice bright and sincere:
“Respected Queen Kaisa, King He Xi, King Liang Bing.” Karl bowed slightly, humble and graceful.
“What my mentor said is the heart of our mission. The Deno Civilization inherits core legacies of Divine River in wisdom theory, material calculus, and super genetic engineering.
Most crucially, the ‘Great Clock’ core.
It represents Divine River’s pinnacle understanding of cosmic laws; its computing and predictive power support a grand cosmic knowledge system.”
He paused, scanning the three rulers, lingering respectfully on He Xi as a fellow scholar:
“Yet computing power is just computing power, the core is just a core.
To truly activate and unleash the Great Clock’s full potential requires unimaginable resources, immense energy,
and an equally powerful ‘auxiliary brain’ capable of collaborative computation. This is the unparalleled advantage of the Angelic Civilization—the Celestial Computing Cluster!”
Karl’s voice carried the infectious idealism of a visionary:
“We propose that the Angelic Civilization provide the top research environment, abundant material and energy resources,
and most importantly—the Celestial Computing Cluster as the collaborative computing platform. The Deno Civilization will supply the complete power and core of the Great Clock,
along with our inherited Divine River super genetic engineering legacy—the blueprint of ‘Divine River Power,’ hailed as the cornerstone of the ‘epoch-making Godmaking project!’”
The words “Divine River Power” struck the crowd like a stone into a calm lake, igniting dazzling light in Kaisa, He Xi, and Liang Bing’s eyes!
This legendary super genetic engineering, forged to combat Ultimate Terror, theoretically capable of creating a “Chief God,” was priceless beyond measure.
Karl continued steadily:
“We will jointly establish an unprecedented academy here in Angelic City—the ‘Super-God Academy!’
It will be a beacon of knowledge in the known universe, a crucible of civilization’s intellect!”
Page 3/3
“Here, scholars from Deno, Angelic, and any future civilizations will enjoy absolute academic freedom!
Any pursuit of cosmic truth or frontier technology, so long as it does not violate fundamental interests, will receive utmost support and tolerance!
Freedom of speech will be held in the highest esteem, for only in free collision of ideas can the true fire of future be ignited!”
He finally gazed at Kaisa, eyes clear and resolute:
“Shared achievements, shared risks. Deno and Angelic, bound by knowledge, contracted by future.
We believe only by breaking civilizational barriers, gathering the finest wisdom and resources, can we carve a true path to the pinnacle of life’s evolution and knowledge in the known universe! This is the ‘Future Covenant’ we bring!”
Karl’s presentation was clear, forceful, and filled with idealistic passion.
He painted a blueprint—uniting the only two celestial computers, sharing Divine River’s cutting-edge legacy (Divine River Power), and creating an absolutely free academic sanctuary.
Such allure could stir the heart of any visionary leader.
Liang Bing’s eyes lingered on Karl’s youthful, handsome face with keen interest. When Karl spoke of “academic freedom” and “freedom of speech,” a playful curve touched her lips.
As Karl’s words ended, Liang Bing’s wild, seductive gaze boldly shot a teasing glance at him.
That look was daring, direct, imbued with the rebellious spirit unique to the Apocalypse King, suffused with freedom and a hint of dangerous allure.
Young Karl, inexperienced with such, flushed crimson like a ripe fruit, utterly shy.
He hurriedly lowered his head, flustered and awkward, breath quickening; his earlier composure and wisdom shattered, leaving only a boy’s embarrassment.
Kaisa naturally observed this scene. She turned her head slightly, casting a faint, calm glance at Liang Bing.
The look was devoid of reproach but carried an invisible, ice-cold authority, clearly signaling “enough.”
Liang Bing received her sister’s gaze, shrugged off indifferently, the smile on her lips deepening as if it were a harmless little joke.
She no longer looked at Karl but shifted her eyes toward the void-cloaked Space, seemingly gauging the mentor’s reaction—unfortunately, beneath that void hood, no emotion stirred.
He Xi was entirely absorbed in Karl’s proposal.
The Celestial Computing Cluster as a collaborative platform combined with the legendary “Great Clock” blueprint... Divine River Power... Super-God Academy... absolute academic freedom!
Each word struck her scientist’s soul with thrilling excitement! This was almost tailor-made for her—a ladder to the ultimate cosmic mysteries!
Resources? Venue? These were trivial compared to such a magnificent knowledge blueprint! The Angelic Civilization had these in abundance!
Kaisa’s gaze returned to Space’s void hood. Her heart stirred with waves.
Karl’s proposal was tempting but fraught with unknown risks. Divine River’s legacy was like Pandora’s box—immense power meant the possibility of losing control.
Absolute academic freedom was a double-edged sword. Could the Angelic Civilization’s newly established “order” accommodate such an unfettered torrent of thought?
Moreover, the true intent of the Deno Civilization, the inscrutable Space before her, and his equally young but gifted student Karl—all shrouded in mystery.
Yet the Angelic Civilization’s dire predicament—population decline, genetic degradation, and the ever-hanging shadow of “Ultimate Terror”—forced her to grasp every opportunity to strengthen their foundation.
Deno brought precisely the key to accessing higher power levels that the Angels most desperately needed.
Kaisa swiftly weighed pros and cons.
Risks existed, but so did rare opportunities.
Furthermore, with the cooperation set in Angelic City, much of the initiative rested in their hands.
As for academic freedom... as long as it did not infringe upon the core bottom lines of their “order,” controlled intellectual collisions might not be harmful.
Kaisa spoke slowly, her voice steady and commanding, echoing across the solemn Angelic Plaza:
“Divine River legacy, a cosmic treasure.
Super-God Academy, a beacon of wisdom.
The Deno Covenant, sincerity evident.”
Her gaze swept Space and Karl, then fixed upon the three rulers with regal decisiveness:
“The Angelic Civilization agrees to this covenant.
The Celestial Computing Cluster, required resources, and the finest grounds of Angelic City will be fully provided.
The Super-God Academy shall rise in Angelic City!
Exploration of knowledge shall enjoy the winds of freedom!
May this covenant, like converging starfire, blaze into a prairie fire, illuminating the path forward for the known universe!”
Kaisa’s words fell like a solemn gavel sealing this interstellar meeting.
He Xi’s eyes flared with unprecedented light—the boundless yearning of a scientist for a temple of knowledge.
Liang Bing smirked, seemingly dismissive of her sister’s “official rhetoric,” her eyes full of interest in the fair, bashful Karl.
Liang Bing did not despise males; she despised male angels, finding the celestial warriors repugnant.
Karl finally lifted his head from embarrassment, still flushed but filled with excitement and joy, looking to his mentor.
Space’s void cloak stirred slightly, and his thought once again resonated in all their hearts—calm and steady, yet faintly tinged with... satisfaction?
“Contract... sealed. Future... forged together.”
Kaisa took the initiative to extend her hand, grasping Space’s hand, skin never revealed.
The leaders of the universe’s two top Godmaking civilizations had forged a historic alliance.
Whether this cooperation would endure or end abruptly, none could say.
At Angelic Plaza, the colossal wings symbolizing guardianship and justice, bathed in stellar light, seemed to acquire a new brilliance—one belonging to knowledge and the future.
Angelic and Deno, two vastly different yet equally powerful civilizations, in this sacred place,
Bound by an alliance spanning starry seas to jointly explore the universe’s mysteries.
Here, within the Angelic Civilization, the Super-God Academy was founded.
No one could foresee how this institution, merging Divine River’s legacy and Angelic glory, would ultimately shape the fate of the known universe.
