As Li Lekang’s final performance in Los Angeles came to a triumphant close, his journey to Las Vegas was about to begin!

His chief manager, Judy, brought excellent news.

The performance collaboration had been finalized!

Li Lekang would be headlining exclusive shows at the Wynn Hotel, with a signing bonus of two million dollars. The contract would last for a year, with a minimum of sixty shows, and he would receive sixty percent of the box office proceeds.

In return, the Wynn Group would provide him with the grandest, most luxurious stage, full-channel marketing, and would cater to every need he might have for work and life during his engagement.

When it comes to Wynn, it truly stands as the epitome of opulence and financial power.

Wynn Las Vegas is one of the most expensive hotels in the city of gambling. Its founder, Stephen Wynn, lauded as the “Father of Las Vegas,” was an outstanding real estate developer.

Judy’s choice of partnership was, of course, based on a comprehensive assessment of financial returns, popularity, and stage caliber. She presented an estimated figure: “Based around this Wynn engagement, we expect to gross five million dollars.”

“Five million dollars?”

Li Lekang hadn’t even spoken yet, when the two girls nearby raised their voices in surprise.

They knew Li Lekang was a big deal now, but still hadn’t imagined he was this impressive—signing on to perform, casually splitting his time over just two months, and earning five million dollars?

They’d never had any concept of such numbers before; the idea of “making money” in Li Lekang’s case felt like playing on easy mode—just a flick of his fingers and the wealth poured in!

Noticing their expressions, Li Lekang chuckled. “If you knew there was once a company that offered me ten million to sign on, you wouldn’t think this number was exaggerated.”

“Ten million?!”

At this, both girls lost all pretense of composure—their eyes sparkled with stars, and they could hardly even process just how many zeros that entailed.

“Why didn’t you accept?” asked Daisy, with Sandra shooting him an eager look.

Judy answered for him, “Because they wanted a five-year contract. I told them my star is not so cheap!”

The older woman’s reply was powerful, instantly silencing the two.

Ten million over five years—do they take him for a bargain?

Li Lekang burst out laughing; there was no need to elaborate further. “Maximizing profits—that’s why I love her!”

Judy smiled and nodded, exuding the calm and confidence of a seasoned professional.

The two girls pouted in secret, but couldn’t deny that these were matters far beyond their control.

Now, Li Lekang simply waved his hand, issuing commands like a general: “Pack your bags, everyone. Our team is heading to Las Vegas!”

“We’re invited guests, enjoying VIP access to all of Wynn’s facilities—nightclubs, bars, Michelin-starred restaurants, even the golf course. You could have the time of your lives just freeloading off the perks!”

After all, youth craves fun. The moment they heard about the lavish treatment awaiting them, all other thoughts vanished, replaced by excitement and anticipation.

“Yay! We’re going to Las Vegas!”

“Hooray!”

The two girls celebrated with a leaping chest bump, grinning from ear to ear.

Li Lekang nearly burst out laughing at the sight. What a wave they crashed into—didn’t that hurt?

Filled with this infectious enthusiasm, the team packed up and set off!

Their convoy consisted of a Cadillac Escalade security vehicle, a GMC Savana nanny van, a small truck for the luggage, and, leading the way, a roaring Maserati with its top down—a dozen or so people formed his entourage.

Los Angeles is about four hundred kilometers from Las Vegas. Once they left the metropolis behind, the endless stretches of low-rise buildings gave way to a highway fading into the horizon, slicing through the barren landscape.

The journey was long. After driving the sports car for a while, Li Lekang grew bored and handed the wheel to the two still-excited girls, then retreated to the spacious, comfortable GMC van to chat about work with Judy.

Judy, dressed in professional business attire, was busy tapping away on her tablet. Her recently styled, cascading waves framed her face, all feminine allure.

Li Lekang noticed and started up a casual conversation about hair styling, but, lulled by the comfort, he soon dozed off. When Judy shook him awake, a city of skyscrapers had already appeared before them.

“We’re here?”

“Welcome to Las Vegas!”

“Your grander stage awaits!”

Li Lekang lowered the window and gazed at the view outside. Las Vegas is a city of madness built in the desert—a place where the riches of the service industry have spawned the height of extravagance!

Here stand the world’s most fantastical buildings; just off the wide boulevard, a pyramid rises, flanked by a sphinx.

Someone even transplanted New York—skyscrapers clustered together, with a replica of the Statue of Liberty standing tall.

Half of Paris’s Eiffel Tower is not to be outdone, accompanied by a grand hotel at its base.

And with Paris present, of course Venice’s canals had to be recreated as well.

As they continued on, their destination finally came into view.

The Wynn Las Vegas, a pair of crescent-shaped towers clad in dark gold.

Beneath the main building sprawled a vast podium complex, housing boutiques for the likes of Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Hermès—even Ferrari and Maserati showrooms.

It was like a self-contained enclave, packed with top-tier brands, high-end restaurants, and elite nightclubs—a one-stop paradise for eating, drinking, and entertainment. They even spent a hundred million dollars building a golf course in the backyard.

The convoy pulled up at the hotel entrance.

No sooner had they stepped out than the hotel’s welcoming party was already in formation.

A manager led the group, flanked by the head of concierge, a housekeeper, a team of attendants, and a squad of dedicated security personnel—an impressive sight.

After all, Li Lekang was now a star. Out came the baseball cap and oversized sunglasses, flanked by bodyguards—an essential part of the celebrity aura, making it clear he was no ordinary guest.

The moment he stepped out, the bodyguards closed ranks around him, positioning him at the center—not just for safety, but to signal to everyone: this is the big star, the boss. If you want a photo, now’s your chance!

To be honest, Li Lekang found this way of traveling a bit ostentatious.

But since the company arranged it this way, what was he to do?

Well, he might as well enjoy it!

Surrounded by lovely assistants and attended by waitresses in sleek uniforms, he was warmly greeted by the senior staff, who expressed their admiration for him as an artist.

After a round of flattering pleasantries, the group was enthusiastically led to their suites.

On the way, they took a quick tour of the dazzling, vibrant casino.

It’s said that in every Vegas hotel, you have to pass through the casino to reach the front desk. At the Venetian, no matter which direction you walk from, you end up in the casino—attention to detail at its finest!

Li Lekang had little interest in gambling, but he couldn’t resist the host’s enthusiasm, so he tagged along, nodding here and there, maintaining the celebrity mystique as guests and staff looked on.

Then, they took the VIP elevator upstairs. Wynn had prepared executive suites for the star and his entourage—every detail considered, from living rooms and dining areas down to a special kennel for Mike the dog!

On the table, a champagne bucket was already chilling, and beside it lay a handwritten welcome card from the housekeeper, inviting him to make any requests he desired.

Li Lekang put down the card and stepped onto the plush carpet to the floor-to-ceiling windows. From this perfect vantage point, the bright lights and endless streams of cars on Las Vegas Boulevard unfolded before him—the city’s most dazzling side on full display.

He picked up the phone and called for the girls to join him.

After all, just like in the movies, wasn’t this the moment to raise a glass of champagne, surrounded by beautiful women, swirling the drink with a flourish and sighing at the empire he now commanded?
