Li Ren was filled with confusion, as were Rania and Shadow. The three of them watched the two mysterious and eccentric individuals, waiting for them to continue.

Seeing that the trio was growing impatient, Fan Yunshan laughed. "You should be the one to tell them. I’m really not keen on explaining it myself."

Mu Ran nodded, her expression turning serious. "Actually, what Brother Fan just mentioned is something you’ve already experienced: the Siege of the Monsters."

"The Siege of the Monsters? What does that have to do with us?" Li Ren remained doubtful; the topic seemed disconnected from the past siege.

"Of course it’s related," Mu Ran said nonchalantly. "Our stance is that since our faction is neutral—or perhaps even leaning toward the monsters—and since Solon is trying to consolidate player forces, why shouldn't we go and sabotage his plans?"

Li Ren’s eyes shifted, and he quickly understood what they meant. Put simply, it was nothing more than orchestrating another monster siege. While not necessarily difficult, it wasn't exactly simple either. The previous siege had required the system to mobilize numerous regional lords and countless elite monsters to capture Yuxiao City. Having participated in that battle, Li Ren knew full well just how powerful Yuxiao City’s defenses were.

Hearing "monster siege" again, Li Ren was stunned, but given the current situation, he quickly grasped the implication.

"So, you’re saying we’re going to play for high stakes?" Rania and Shadow had also caught on, offering bitter smiles. They truly hadn't expected Fan Yunshan to come up with such an idea. It wasn't surprising, though. As the former lord of Yuxiao City, losing his massive stronghold during the siege—even under system interference and with Tian Xie’s involvement—had been a humiliating blow. For Fan Yunshan, it remained an unforgettable scar.

If someone could use such an event to seize a city from him, why couldn't they use the same tactic to harass those self-righteous players? With Li Ren’s current strength—capable of taking on a Lord-tier boss solo—he was far more formidable than that foolish Voodoo Lord when facing players. At the very least, he wouldn't expose himself to player firepower just to bash against city walls.

Even if Solon’s entire team of forty arrived—assuming they were all level 100 players—they would be no match for Li Ren, especially with the robust supplies from Yuxiao City and Luoyun City backing him. And even if those forty people managed to corner Li Ren, preventing others from helping, did they really think they could take him down? Who could possibly kill him? Unless their damage output exceeded his recovery rate, and their durability surpassed his offensive power, they stood no chance.

Add in the Vampire Legion that even Mu Ran praised, and they might not even need the Yuxiao Legion from Landis to make those players regret their little schemes.

The plan was simple, and its execution would be just as straightforward. The key, however, remained Li Ren. As the primary attacker, he had to be able to withstand immense pressure. The guards configured by the system for player guilds were of the same rank as those in Yuxiao City; the only difference was that the scale of a player town was much smaller. Currently, only the Wushuang Legion held the status of a "town," while others, like the Ziluo Yunyan Pavilion—which received subtle support from Luoyun City—were still a distance away from that level.

Since they had decided, they would act immediately. They didn't have much time. The main goal of this siege wasn't just the players, but the entity lurking behind them: Tian Xie. They had to flush out Solon’s team of forty. As long as they remained hidden, they were a massive threat. Even though their numbers were small, if Tian Xie were to act recklessly, they could still cause significant damage.

The only thing left to prepare was determining their target. Based on intelligence from Rania and analysis from Mu Ran and Fan Yunshan, three factions were most likely in contact with Solon and Tian Xie. While these factions seemed unremarkable now, they held hidden potential, and the real-world people behind them were not to be underestimated. These three were Flower Capital, Crazy Front, and Mad Lion.

Looking at the map, Li Ren studied the three red-marked locations. Flower Capital was in the far east, not far from Yuxiao City, while Crazy Front and Mad Lion were established near the Woma Temple—a gathering place for level 60 monsters—in the northeast. Further north from there lay Luoyun City.

Seeing the perfect tactical position, Li Ren smiled and pointed at the locations of Crazy Front and Mad Lion. Those two player guild bases, which had only just reached the scale of small villages, were destined to face the most brutal war they had ever experienced.

The Vampire Legion of Luoyun City was already well-known to the players who frequented the area. As they watched the endless stream of vampires marching out of the barracks toward the city gates, the players exchanged glances, their eyes filled with shock and excitement. It was clear that Luoyun City was on the move again. Last time this happened, Yuxiao City had fallen and the Wushuang Legion had suffered heavy losses. What would this mobilization mean?

No one knew yet, but news of the Vampire Legion’s departure spread rapidly from Luoyun City. The player world quickly realized that the mysterious, unpredictable Lord of Luoyun City was likely about to make another move.
