Chapter 76: Seduction by the Pool
"Damn, whose hands are those? Can't you just move them away? This is too melodramatic! Why on earth are you blocking such a beautiful view? It's simply outrageous!"
What met his eyes was a pair of slender, delicate hands desperately shielding the proud fullness of her chest. From the force she used, the generous curves were squeezed and misshapen. Even as Lin Yang, who had succeeded in peeping from a certain angle, grumbled inwardly, he found himself unsatisfied.
It was so melodramatic—after all this, not even a glimpse of two of the three forbidden spots. What a shame. The crack of the door was too narrow, and his field of vision too limited. He had just managed to sneak a peek, hoping to witness a nosebleed-inducing scene, maybe ladies changing clothes or something, a full view to his greedy eyes. Instead, all he saw was a pair of lovely hands. Lin Yang admitted those hands were indeed attractive.
But what lay behind them was far more enticing. At this moment, Lin Yang thought those hands were quite unnecessary—why bother blocking? Cover your navel, your backside, anything, but why must you hide that round, luscious fullness? How could she be so selfish, unwilling to share such beauty with the world?
He barely had time to ponder this deeply philosophical question when, with a creak, the door of the women’s changing room suddenly swung open.
Leng Nini appeared, purposely wearing a look of displeasure as she blocked the doorway, glaring fiercely at Lin Yang who was skulking there like a thief, his eyes shamelessly gleaming. She opened her mouth, unleashing a barrage of mockery. “Well, if it isn’t Little Yang! Aren’t you a sight—standing there soaking wet and naked at the door. Oh wait, you’ve got pants on! You scared me. I thought you had a habit of streaking!”
Verbal attacks were always Lin Yang’s weapon of choice against his foes, but this time, the devastating line had been seized by the cunning Leng Nini. Outrageous! Lin Yang prided himself on his sharp tongue, but before he could retort, the little minx was a step ahead.
“Hehe, Little Yang, don’t stare so hard or your eyes will pop out! Oh, you naughty thing, where are you looking? Honestly, if you wanted to see, you just had to ask. Sister Qiqi would generously let you admire her anytime. By the way, she told me so herself just now—don’t you dare tell anyone!”
It was one thing to talk nonsense, but making up stories could really provoke people. Sure enough, Zhang Qiqi, who was dragged into this for no reason, was far from pleased and complained inwardly. “This little brat, she clearly wants Little Yang to admire her body, and now she’s pulling me into it—she’s too wicked! I thought she was cute earlier, but it seems I was fooled by her sweet appearance.”
Thinking this, she couldn’t help but speak up for herself, her hands not idle either as she teased, “You little rascal, talking nonsense again. See if I don’t punish you!” With that, she began tickling Leng Nini.
Leng Nini was most afraid of being tickled. Petite and unable to resist, she was soon overwhelmed by Zhang Qiqi’s assault, laughing so hard she cried, finally begging for mercy before Zhang Qiqi let her go. By then, she was gasping for breath.
Lin Yang was speechless. The room had been eerily quiet just moments ago, and now, thanks to the two girls, it was full of passion and laughter. If he hadn’t stopped himself in time, he might have joined in the tickling himself.
He wanted to say, “I love tickling games too,” but such shameless words were beyond him, at least until he achieved the ultimate mastery of insolence.
Still, his skin was thick enough. He bent graciously, offering a mischievous grin to the two girls sprawled ungracefully on the floor. “Ladies, may I have the honor of swimming together?” What he really wanted to say was, “May I have the honor of sharing a lovers’ bath?”
“Get lost.”
“Scram!”
When it came to presenting a united front, women never faltered—especially against a lecherous wolf whose eyes lingered on their delicate curves. The two girls, who had been playfully bickering moments ago, turned in unison and rolled their eyes at Lin Yang, barking at him to leave.
But the most ruthless of all was always Leng Nini, bold and brash. Seizing the moment while Lin Yang was distracted, she lifted her bare right leg, cartoon slipper and all, and landed a swift kick on his right buttock.
“Ow! You little imp, you’re getting out of hand. Watch out, or I’ll—” Before Lin Yang could finish, he lost his balance in a most undignified manner, falling backward straight into the pool behind him.
With a loud splash, water showered the two girls, sliding down their smooth skin. Wet looks were always dangerous; Lin Yang, barely steadying himself and surfacing, was greeted yet again by a melodramatic scene.
Leng Nini, closest to the water, had her chest completely soaked, her dried skin now glistening and more supple from the droplets. As she wiped water from her face, Lin Yang grinned mischievously and reached for her left ankle. “You little minx, daring to ambush me. Down you go!” With that, she lost her footing and plunged gracelessly into the pool.
Splash—arms wide, Leng Nini was submerged.
“Hehe,” Zhang Qiqi, standing nearby, covered her mouth and laughed daintily at Leng Nini’s misfortune, but remained vigilant, afraid of sharing her fate. After Leng Nini’s surprise attack, she wisely stepped back, ensuring Lin Yang couldn’t reach her.
Watching her cautious retreat, Lin Yang cursed inwardly. Too late! He had planned to drag Zhang Qiqi in next, but she was quicker than him.
His scheming foiled, Lin Yang smiled. “Qiqi, come on in! It’s no fun playing alone. Besides, Nini’s already here; you should join us!”
“Ugh, so dirty, so dirty—ah! Little Yang, you’re such a rascal, dragging me in without warning. I wasn’t prepared—ended up swallowing pool water!” Leng Nini, making a face, seemed determined to spit out every last drop, though after several dry heaves, managed nothing but saliva.
“You—just stay away and I’ll get in,” Zhang Qiqi warned, afraid Lin Yang would pull her in like he did to Leng Nini.
Lin Yang, playing the fool, turned away and waded to the center of the pool. Walking in water was hard, so he switched to an ungainly dog paddle. Zhang Qiqi, about to step in, burst out laughing at his ridiculous swimming.
Leng Nini, initially plotting revenge, was also reduced to laughter at Lin Yang’s antics, losing her balance and tumbling into the water again—though this time, she wisely shut her mouth as she went under.
Lin Yang, content and carefree, paid no mind to their laughter, no matter how odd it sounded.
Truth be told, his swimming needed work; it took him ages to cross the small pool. Standing in the middle, he called out to Zhang Qiqi at the edge, “Qiqi, see? I’m far away now, promise I can’t reach you—come on in!”
Instead of diving straight in, Zhang Qiqi turned to her mother, who was still holding the one-piece swimsuit she hadn’t changed into. “Mom, why haven’t you changed yet?”
As soon as she spoke, she realized she’d already asked once, and even Leng Nini had inquired two or three times.
Su Qin, finally regaining her composure, flushed bright red under her daughter’s questioning gaze, her cheeks burning as if she’d downed a whole bottle of spirits.
“It’s nothing, you kids play. I’ll go look after your father. If he wakes up in a strange place and doesn’t see me, he’ll get anxious.” Dodging the question, Su Qin hurriedly made for the exit, slipping the swimsuit into the wardrobe as she passed.
As Su Qin rushed to the pool doors, Lin Yang, puzzled, called out, “Aunt Qin, why are you leaving so soon? Won’t you stay and play a bit?”
Caught by his question, Su Qin couldn’t pretend not to hear. She paused, turned with a smile, and explained, “You young people have fun. I won’t intrude. Besides, your Uncle Feng isn’t well and needs care. I’ve gotten used to always being there for him. If he wakes and doesn’t see me, he’ll get anxious.”
With that, she didn’t wait for the three to react, turning briskly and slipping out the door. By the time their gazes followed, her captivating figure had already vanished.
Outside the pool room, Su Qin drew a deep breath, relieved at her quick wit in finding a reasonable excuse. Otherwise, she’d have been truly embarrassed.
Still, she cursed inwardly, “Why did it have to be that time of the month—right when I was about to change?” Even though the other two were just young girls, and one her own daughter, it would have been mortifying to change in front of them—let alone with a man around. So she’d had no choice but to make her escape.
But deep down she truly was worried about her husband. Not pausing for a moment, she hurried straight to the first floor—after nearly an hour apart, she couldn’t help but worry.
“Oh no! Why did Aunt Qin leave? I never got to have a water fight with her, or invite her to swim!” Leng Nini, surfacing again, swept her wet bangs from her eyes, pouting cutely and blinking her big, enchanting eyes, bemoaning Su Qin’s absence.
“Alright, Nini, don’t fuss. Aunt Qin’s just worried about Uncle Feng. Besides, with us kids around, she’d feel a bit awkward.” Lin Yang moved beside Nini, giving her a consoling pat on the head.
“Mm, Nini, my mom’s definitely worried about Dad. Didn’t you notice how distracted she was? For years now, she’s stayed by his side, caring for him. She’s used to it. If she leaves him for even a moment, she gets anxious. Please try to understand.” As a daughter, Zhang Qiqi naturally defended her mother, offering a gentle explanation as she cautiously entered the pool.
“Oh, I didn’t say anything! Why are you both so serious?” Embarrassed by their earnest looks, Leng Nini pouted and, seizing the opportunity, splashed Lin Yang with a curtain of water.
Hit squarely, Nini cackled gleefully at her successful mischief, crowing, “Hmph, let’s see you bully me again!”
